Safe9ja Gmail Campaigner ("the App", "we", "us") is a browser-based tool that lets you send personalized bulk email campaigns through your own Gmail account via the Google Gmail API. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.

By using the App you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

1. Information We Access

The App requests the following Google OAuth scopes on your behalf:

  • gmail.send — to create and send email messages from your account.
  • gmail.modify — to manage sent message labels and thread state.
  • gmail.settings.sharing — to read your verified "send-as" addresses so you can choose which address to send from.
  • userinfo.email & userinfo.profile — to display your name and email address in the App interface.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Your Google profile information (name, email) is used only for display in the App interface and to identify your active session.
  • Gmail send permissions are used only to compose and send the email messages you explicitly initiate.
  • Your "send-as" addresses are read only to populate the From-address selector in the compose step.
  • CSV data you upload is processed entirely in your browser. It is never transmitted to any server.

We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, build user profiles, train machine learning models, or share with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Retention

The App operates entirely client-side. All tokens (OAuth access token and refresh token) are stored only in your browser's localStorage. No email content, recipient lists, or personal data is ever sent to or stored on an external server operated by us.

Signing out of the App clears all tokens and campaign state from localStorage immediately. Closing your browser or clearing browser data also removes all stored tokens.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or Google user data with any third parties. The App communicates exclusively with Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization server and Gmail API endpoints. No other services receive your data.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

The App's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • Google user data is used only to provide the email-sending functionality you request.
  • Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
  • Google user data is not used for advertising purposes.
  • Humans do not read your Google user data unless required by law or with your explicit permission.

6. Security

Because all data stays in your browser, the security of your data depends on the security of your device and browser. We strongly recommend:

  • Using the App only on trusted, private devices.
  • Signing out when you are done to clear your OAuth tokens.
  • Keeping your browser and operating system updated.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
